Afghan kush generally identifies as an Indica dominant plant. The flowering of the seeds takes about 60days; during this period, each plant is highly productive. The yield of each plant is dependent on the environmental conditions in which it is planted. Under indoor conditions, the yield is about 400 g/m2 to 500 g/m2, which is relatively low compared to a yield of 550 g/m2 to 600 g/m2 when grown outdoor.
Biochemical components of these plants include terpene- Alpha Cedrene, Beta-Caryophyllene, Myrcene, Ocimene, citral, Camphene and Eugenol. Furthermore, it has a THC composition of 14% to 19%; and a low CBD of 2%.
